Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Christ Church United Methodist offers help to those in the Kanawha County, West Virginia community who have received termination notices for a utility. In an effort to help the greatest number of people with available funding, we limit this assistance to one bill per customer, per calendar year. This assistance is an in-person process and takes place between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Tuesdays only. To apply for this assistance, you need to bring in your termination notice and a valid ID. Volunteers are here during this time to help those who are in need of cleaning supplies and hygiene items as well.
This ministry is funded by a special offering that is collected on the 1st Sunday of each month during worship, as well as by donations throughout the month via mail, Text-To-Give, PayPal, and donations made directly through our website.
