Children's Ministries

Christ Church is a member of the Child Advocacy Network. Our children's ministries encompass many different focuses in our children's lives.

Children's Ministries Mission Statement

We believe that every child of God should be able to reach his/her potential physically, spiritually and emotionally. Every child should know love, acceptance and encouragement and that they are a child of God.

We offer the following opportunities aimed specifically to our children:

Sunday School & Nursery - Sunday morning program for Infants - 5th Grade
Moments with Children - Children sermons during the 9:00 & 11:00 services
Children's Worship Center - Activity bags, Bibles and storybooks available for children during worship services
Jubilate! Choir & Bells - Music program for Kindergarten - 5th Grade
The Growing Place - Preschool program for ages 2, 3, and 4; a Kanawha County School Collaborative Site
Cub Scouts - For boys 1st Grade - 5th Grade
Basketball Program - Kindergarten - 12th grade can participate
Vacation Bible School - Offered in the Summer for children 3 years old - 5th Grade
Summer Camps - Art camps, Nature camps and other week long camps offered throughout the summer
Children's Library - Filled with kids' books!
Child Care - Offered periodically throughout the year

will be "God's Armour" Join us for an

exciting summer and bring your friends!
