Sunday School Rules!

AHHH!!! There are rules for Sunday School?!?! Why yes there are! Sunday School is an amazing program here at Christ Church. Over 40 volunteers work together to provide classes for people from birth to adult. In order for that process to flow smoothly, we have a few procedures to follow. We don’t boss the adults around too much, but we do have some procedures for our kids.

  • MUST be dropped off and picked up.

  • Be respectful at all times.

Choices, Choices: Sunday School A La Carte!

Middle School Sunday School, Grades 6-8: (Meets in Alpha Room)
Our middle school class is for all students in grades 6-8, and we meet in our own unique space which we are currently starting to make our own! We sit in beanbag chairs that add to the youthful spirit of our class. Our curriculum relates to current world news, culture, and general happenings.
High School Sunday School Grades 9-12:(Meets in the Omega Room)
We sit in a circle in our comfy chairs in the Wolfe Omega in order to achieve a more open atmosphere. High school students have curriculum that pertains to current news and trends. We speak openly and freely and often agree to disagree. We appreciate our individual differences and embrace the unique perspectives that everyone brings to our group.

Adult Sunday School

Meets in Room 200

We are a group of late 20 somethings to late 40 somethings exploring what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and you may find us a bit irreverent at times, but what we seek to do is to build honest and life-long relationships with one another and God. We ask a lot of tough and honest questions, maybe find some temporary answers, and laugh along the way. Our life in God is a journey, one filled with valid doubt, skepticism, and real, maybe sometimes shaky, faith. We explore all of this and more through the myriad of voices from both inside and outside the cohort. Currently, we are exploring Church History, starting at the beginning. We would love to have your voice!

Meets in Room 228

The adult Benson Class is a loyal group of people who thrive on discussion. The material studied and discussed is from the Bible with an adult study guide that relates it to our Christian life and culture today.

Meets in Room 229

We are the young adults (general ages 40-60 — although we gladly welcome those who may be a little (or a lot) older or younger than that range). Our group loves fellowship and fun. We engage in six to ten week studies based upon video series (such as Ray Vanderlaan’s series on the Holy Land) to current books by prominent Christian Authors. We usually conduct a film study at least once a year on Christian images and meaning in modern movies. If you love fellowship, then please come to the Cana Class.
