YOU’RE INVITED TO CELEBRATE THE 101st BIRTHDAY OF EVA KENNEDY - this celebration will be held in the Potter Room at noon on May 14, 2019. Everyone is invited to attend.

SMITH’S MEMORIAL SERVICE: On Saturday May 18th at noon in the chapel a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Lou Smith will be held. A reception will follow the service in the Potter Room.

YOU CAN BE A BLESSINGS – If you have not had the opportunity to donate to our Backpack Blessing ministry, now’s your chance! Pick up one of the grocery bags in the Narthex, attached to the bag is a shopping list. Select items from the list to purchase, put them in the bag and return the filled bag to CCUM by Sunday, May 19th . The kids from Weberwood Elementary will be blessed by your generosity. 2019

SPRING HEIGHTS SUMMER CAMPS REGISTRATION – Once again this year the Methodist church camp, Spring Heights, will be offering summer camp experiences for children and youth. ASSISTANCE MINISTRY NEEDS – We are currently in need of deodorant, toothpaste and household cleaner. All donations can be dropped off in the church office area.

CCUMunity Day

Sunday, May 19th

On this day come out and BE the church in our community! Spread God’s love around the Kanawha Valley through acts of grace-filled volunteer services that we will do this day. We will only have a brief service at 9:00am then we will head off to our various work sites. Be sure to register ahead of time to pick the place you want to work. To register visit the CCUMunity table in the Narthex or visit the CCUM website: www.ccumwv.org. There will be a job for everyone doing something, somewhere. CHILDCARE will be offered for babies and preschoolers from 9am to Noon. At 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall we will gather for dinner provided by *Café Applachia. Reservations are required and donations will be accepted.
