LIKE THE SEASONS AROUND US, LIFE IS FILLED WITH CHANGE AND TRANSITIONS: This week our beloved Administrative Assistant Lisa Martin announced her resignation from her position at Christ Church effective May 10, 2019.

Lisa has served Christ Church for the past 24 years and has always been a smiling presence in the office and cheerful voice on the phone to our members and visitors. Her dedication and support to our pastors and staff are deeply appreciated, and her historic knowledge of Christ Church is invaluable. Her spiritual gifts of administration and caring will be sorely missed

The Staff- Parish Relations Committee invites everyone to come and share with Lisa at a reception in the Potter Room during the Sunday morning worship hours on May 12, 2019 beginning at 9:30 a.m. We also invite you to share tokens of appreciation with Lisa through cards and a love offering which will be collected during the reception.

In her resignation letter Lisa shared: My family and I are making decisions in our life that are going to affect the rest of our lives and with these changes I am no longer able to devote the time and energy that it takes to accomplish this job. As most of you already know, I have a handicap son, Nathan. He is now 16 years old and the older he gets the more care and attention he needs. My dream has always been to take care of him on a full time basis but due to family and finances I have been unable to do this. God has now made a way for that to happen. Also, he has made a way for my family to be able to purchase our first home. So, with these changes comes responsibility to be the best I can be for home and work. I love each and every one of you. Christ Church United Methodist will always be a part of my forever family and will always be lifted up in daily prayers".

Lisa will always be a part of our CCUM family. We wish her and her family all the best as she enters into this new phase of her life caring for her son Nathan and establishing her new home.
