Dr. Brenda Portman will make her Charleston debut by giving the second recital of the Golden Jubilee Organ Recital series. Brenda is a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, where she serves on the faculty of Xavier University as an Adjunct Professor of Organ. She also serves as the organist at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church in Cincinnati. An award-winning organist, Brenda is quickly becoming a well-known composer of organ and chamber music, with many of her compositions published by Lorenz Corporation.
